I read a tweet last night that hit me hard. It said, "While I love people and often crave their affirmation, I grow as I remember : I am serving the ONE who called me and HIS approval is enough." (Barbara Graves - a fellow Children's Pastor) 

Wow. That hit me hard. 

A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a song "Steady My Heart" - by a young vocalist, Kari Jobe. I loved how perfect the words were for my heart - especially in this season I'm finding myself in. 

I began running again, yesterday.

A couple weeks ago, I found (well, my friend Sara actually found it, but shared) a great recipe for all-natural, playdoh that I just had to try. You might have seen some if your kids brought it home with them from church - or even smelled it, as you walked past the preschool classroom at church.

Well, it's time for me to begin blogging. Jeremy Lyon, our IT guy finally gave me the run down on how to work this thing. Apparently it's been set up for 32 weeks - and I'm just now getting around to using it. Better late than never though, right?!?
